Hi 👋.

My name is Bill, I built this website.

I specialise in elevating the practice of lecturers, tutors, teachers, and all forms of practitioners to teach in the online environment. I am fascinated by the practices offered by technology in creating these digital spaces.

Why listen to me:

• I currently work at RMIT Online, owned by RMIT University, leading a team of coaches to coach tutors in online teaching. RMITO is a leader in the online space and we use a world-class coaching model to build capability in this space.

• In the past, I’ve led the STEM Department at Virtual School Victoria, the largest online school in the state of Victoria.

• I love education. I have a Masters Degree in Education (Technology & Leadership) from the University of Melbourne.

Education is changing, and by consequence can create new transformational experiences for students. But that requires a new skill set, one that leverages pedagogy and technology.

I started edu xp (Education Experience) to explore the elements of changing practice, scalability in education, and edutech things I find interesting.
